Disney Springs is kind of like our little hometown now that we live here in Orlando. It’s our go-to for afternoon shopping, date nights, and happy hours! I was anxiously awaiting the holiday decor at Disney Springs because it reminds me of the nostalgic excitement of seeing my hometown in Michigan decked out with twinkling lights and huge, sparkling trees!
It did not disappoint! In recent years, the tree trail has offered a fun (& free) holiday activity. Highly detailed trees representing different movies and attraction beckoned tourists and locals alike. This year, to avoid crowding, there are all kinds of themed trees throughout Disney Springs. After visiting, I LOVE this alternative see trail! It’s so fun to happen upon a Mulan tree or a Haunted Mansion one (which is quite spooky by the way)! All the while, happy holiday songs play, decor matching each area’s aesthetic sparkles, and shoppers in festive clothing delight in the festivity.
The trees and general decor aren’t all though! My favorite part of Disney Springs right now is the Jock Lindsey’s HOLIDAY bar! (How did I miss this last year?!) The bar is fully-decked out in Christmas decorations. Even the servers sport holiday bows on their heads! There are also some fun drink specials!
I met my friend Jeff (@jeff4disney) there for some holiday spirits & a bite to eat! We both got the chicken tacos, which were very good (and gluten-free)!
I can’t wait to explore more of the holiday offerings across Disney World this year!
